Ancient Greece has played a huge role on our confederacy today. From its philosophy, craft, science, math, architecture, literature and politics, the Ancient classics have had a major wedge on our lives.
The Greek culture influenced the republic we have today. In Pericles age, ideal form of government was to be one organize by all citizens no matter where they stood in the accessible pyramid. This was known as democracy, literally meaning
government of the people. They used a form of voting back accordingly in their government like we do today. They would use rocks and by throwing them into a large pot, they would vote. The rock would be white if they concur with what was being voted on, or the rock would be black if they disagreed. at present in our culture, we vote very similar to what the Greeks did long ago. immediately days instead of rocks, we use paper to record our vote. consequently all the votes are added up and this helps determine the outcome. Back then, in order to keep peace, the people wrote on rocks who they would like to memorize banished from the city. They would also throw these rocks into a pot and the person that came up the around would have to leave the city. Now days, our law is a good deal stricter and these people would be put in jail, or they would win other punishments.
Overall the Greek society greatly influenced the democracy we have today. Many of the ideas havent changed much over the years.
Many aspects of art in Ancient Greece impacted its future, but one of the most important was their architecture. Maybe the reason for this was because it was a whole brand-new form of architecture that had little to do with how it functioned and everything to do with looks.
