1. Introduction Economic activity is affected by arouse and active groups through two mechanisms. 1 is through commonplace political relation, in which groups attempt to in uence public of?ceholders to the bene?t of the groups themselves or those whom they support. The other is through mysterious politics, in which bear on and activist groups attempt to in uence economic activity at one time with give away reliance on public institutions or of?ceholders. This paper provides a theory of private politics in which an activist seeks to diversity the production practices of a ?rm for the purpose of redistribution to those whose interests it supports.
